How to Get the Most Out of Your Training at Shape Training
If you’re reading this, you’ve already taken an important first step — you’re engaging with your health and fitness intentionally. I want the next steps you take in this process to make your experience as dynamic and transformative as we designed it to be.
I’m willing to bet you have a Netflix subscription — and I’m also willing to bet you haven’t thought much about that subscription since you got it. It’s a very passive experience where you log in and hope you find something you want to watch.
That’s how most people treat their health and fitness — they hope it’s working. But we don’t hope with our health. We set goals, we check in on them, and we evolve as those goals change. This relationship is dynamic; it should evolve with you. You should be the driver of your health.
What do I mean by “you should be the driver of your health”?
Exactly what it says — drive yourself where you need to go. Your next thought might be, “How do I get there?” Think of everything we do here as your roadmap and signs along the way. We start by identifying a clear destination through a structured goal-setting process. We’re driving there together, and along the way, certain tools help guide the journey. Our programming is the road that gets us there, and the FIT3D scans show us we’re heading in the right direction. All of these things work together to guide us toward your goals.
As I said before, your experience here shouldn’t be passive — it should be dynamic. A big part of that depends on you. In any good relationship, strong communication is the foundation. We need to know how you’re feeling, if you’re confused, or how we can do better. You can help make this a great experience by communicating openly and regularly — let us know your thoughts on the programming, when things are unclear, or when something isn’t working for you. Tell your coach and provide feedback in our monthly surveys.
Drive with the Destination in Mind
As we move forward, we’ll also review your scans and discuss how your progress may have shifted your goals. Remember, these tools aren’t a report card — they’re a GPS guiding us toward your destination. It’s data to help align us on the right path.
At the end of the day, your health journey is yours to steer. We’re here to fuel the engine, keep the map updated, and ride alongside you — but you’ve got to stay in the driver’s seat.
